A Soldier’s Vow

Rating: 3/5 Stars

Overall, I thought this was a decent book. The writing wasn’t bad, however, it felt a bit corny at times. I read the book quickly and it held my attention to the point where I never felt like I should quit reading the book. However, when trying to come up with ways to describe the plot and writing the one word that keeps coming to mind is decent.

It was good that it was short because it felt like not a lot happened. The entire book was Sydney and Lane both obviously having feelings for each other, but doing nothing about it. The whole book I felt as though I was just waiting for the two of them to end up together, making it very predictable. That being said I do enjoy happy endings so that did make the ending nice.

I received this book for free through Goodreads Giveaways.
