In the final book of this trilogy the girls are back at Sea Breeze for the summer. Mamaw invited all three of her granddaughters to Sea Breeze for their last summer together at the house before it’s sold. The sisters all share a father but have different mothers and a different upbringing. This leads to a few conflicts and jealousies. Throughout the summer their relationships grow and they start to learn each others differences and how similar they all are.
I enjoyed following all of the girl’s story lines and seeing their lives. Every character had their own story line that fit in with everyone else. My favorite part about this series is how unique all of the characters all; the sister’s all have different personalities and they don’t always get along. But that’s okay because that’s how life is. Monroe writes about family in such a realistic and normal way that it’s refreshing to read. Families fight and don’t get along, but in the end they love each other and care for one another.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
