The Choice

My first thoughts when I received the book were that it looked pretty long and that I liked the cover. Even though you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, I admit, I do. So right off the bat I was already drawn to the book. Once I started reading I realized that the length was nothing and I finished the book in a couple hours. Plus I thought that Robert Whitlow did a fantastic job writing it and it wouldn’t have been as good if he left anything out. Now add in the fact that the book is about adoption (my siblings are adopted) and I’m all for the book.

So before I even started reading I was excited. I really enjoyed reading a story about adoption from a birth mother’s point of view because all my experience with adoption comes from the other side. I thought Whitlow truly captured the emotion that goes along with issues such as teen pregnancy, abortion, and adoption.

I received a complimentary copy of The Choice in exchange for my honest review.
